A video trending on social media featured a tragic phenomenon that was facilitated by the police. The video that was shared on Twitter by user @Naija_PR, caught police wrecking an innocent man's car after a car chase.

The Police van had been involved in a car chase that eventually led to the denting of an innocent man's car because of their false assumption that he was an internet fraudster.

According to the video footage, which quickly went viral on social media, the police van can be seen in pursuit of a vehicle on a busy street.

Unfortunately, the innocent man's car that was bashed was reported to be a customer's. The innocent man was a mechanic, he was only test-running the car on the road before the police van intruded.

The police, believing they were pursuing a criminal, engaged in a high-speed chase that resulted in a collision with the innocent customer’s car.
