By Oluwarantimi Oludase

‎Popular Nigerian lawyer, Stan Alieke, has warned bloggers and Journalists to desist from asking him and his lawyers questions about controversial Nigerian singer, Speed Darlington.

‎The Abuja-based lawyer took to his Instagram story on Tuesday to stress that he does not appreciate the way he and his lawyers are bombarded with calls and DMs once Speed Darlington is trending.

‎He noted that his firm made the decision to desist from representing the 'Baby Oil' crooner known to the public, stressing that he would not respond to any calls or DMs about the singer.

‎He wrote:
‎"I do not appreciate the way bloggers & newspaper correspondents are always harassing me & my lawyers with calls & DMs whenever there's a news on Akpi or he's trending: When Law Capitol recused itself from his representation we made it public. All these calls & Dms asking me what I have to say or comment is unwanton."

The Nigerian Voice recalls that Speed Darlington in a viral Instagram video on Monday, issued a warning to the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP), after he was declared wanted, stating that he was not going to honour their invitation, and also called their allegations against him bluff, and without evidence.

‎Speed Darlington's viral rant was a response to recently being declared wanted by the National Agency for the Prohibition of Trafficking in Persons (NAPTIP) over rape, cyberbullying, and cyberstalking, which come after the singer in May, shared a video on his Instagram page revealing in Igbo language that he had sex with a young girl in an unnamed hotel, adding that the girl was left bleeding and that he paid hotel staff N2,000 to change the sheets.
