The Nigerian music industry has been characterized with different beefs among fellow singers which includes: upcoming vs established singers, veteran singers vs established and upcoming singers.

Reacting to the incessant beef and shades among artistes in the music industry is popular singer, Skales. The singer believes that the issue of artistes throwing shades at each other is unnecessary.

He further stated that the music industry should not be characterized by such behaviour considering the fact that staying at the top in the music industry is not for a long time, so artistes should learn to respect their colleagues.
