Buhari Confused On Fight Against Corruption—Femi Kuti

Afro-beat singer, Femi Kuti, who has been recently engulfed in preparing for the 2015 edition of Felabration, is not happy with the trend of things in the country.

Analysing the activities of the current administration, the singer explained to newsmen that the APC government, which is known for its 'Change' chants, says the party “does not even know what they want except fighting corruption.”

He questioned why the former governor of Lagos state, Babatunde Fashola, was nominated as minister.

Femi stressed that President Muhammadu Buhari shouldn't have released the list of the nominated ministers, noting that he was not prepared for it.

“The president should not have put that list forward, he was not prepared, that's what I see. And everyone has just accepted it like that. Our rights are being abused, because if we knew our rights, people would be saying 'No, we won't accept it',” he said.
