Nigerian singer, 2Face Idibia, has defended Senator-elect, Ben Murray-Bruce's view on on politicians who forsake the masses after getting into office they once begged for.

Murray-Bruce had also shared his view on the huge amount paid to public office holders as allowance and salary, but he came under attack.

“In, 4 years, this headline must change to 'Nigerian Legislators Make Sacrifice and Reduce Pay' so help me God!” he had written.

Throwing his support for the Silverbird TV owner, 2Face said he is inspired by Murray-Bruce's view on the salaries paid to lawmakers.

“I'm always inspired when I see someone speak up with courage @benmurraybruce Nigerians really need to wake up and speak up without fear,” 2Face wrote.

Also speaking on the matter was Omotola Ekeinde, who concurred that for Nigeria to grow, something must be done on the jumbo pay of public office holders.
