Tiredness Doesn't Equate To Laziness – Timi Dakolo Urges Men To Prioritize Rest
Popular Nigerian singer Timi Dakolo has shared an advice to men on the importance of resting when necessary.
According to him, the idea of men pretending to be strong despite exhaustion kicking in is not healthy in any way.
He maintained that every strong human dies, noting how portraying strength as a facade has no benefit, as once death kicks in—it is over.
Admonishing men, Dakolo stressed the importance of taking rests once tired and exhausted, emphasizing that tiredness does not equate to laziness.
He wrote
"Dear brotherly, pretending to be strong even when you’re really tired doesn’t add years to your life. Strong men die too, and the world will move on fast, especially the people you are acting strong for. If you’re tired, rest small. Tired no be laziness."
