Popular Nigerian singer, Joseph Akinfenwa Donus, best known as Joeboy, has revealed his anger at the change of the national anthem.

Recall that the Federal Government of Nigeria ordered that Nigerians should revert to the former national anthem yesterday.

The decision of the government to revert to the old national anthem has been heavily criticized by many on social media including Joeboy, who believes that the government should have focused on the more pressing economic issues instead of the national anthem.

He wrote on X;
“Of all the problems Nigerians have to deal with, changing the national anthem is priority? Okay naw.”
