"Nigeria Has Moved Backwards" - Falz Describes President Tinubu's Tenure
Nigerian rapper and activist Folarin Falana, popularly known as Falz, has described the administration of president Tinubu as backwards.
The 'This is Nigeria' crooner, while giving his assessment following the recent celebration of President Tinubu's second year in office, argued that "there is not much progress that has been recorded."
According to him, Nigerians are still waiting for the President to use his remaining two years to prove himself, but currently, nothing positive has been done.
Speaking in a recent interview on Arise TV, Falz said:
“It goes without saying, that more than anything we’ve moved backwards. There is not much progress that has been recorded. I think I remember the campaign slogan being ‘Emilokan,’ which translates to,
‘it’s my turn.’
“And now it just seems like, what were you planning of doing? We are still waiting. It’s remaining two more years. Maybe there is still a plan. But as it stands now, first half, we never see anything.”
