Popular Nigerian reggae singer and guitarist, Majekodunmi Fasheke aka Majek Fashek, who was very popular with hits like 'Send Down the Rain' and a cover of Bob Marley's 'Redemption Song' has left the music scene for some years now and the only gist we heard about him was that of how he is addicted to drug, and how it has affected his music career.

The music artiste was a guest on 'Rubbin Minds' and he addressed few issues. Asked by host, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, if the stories of his drug addiction were true and if it was responsible for his career's downfall, the 'Rainmaker' said, “I never did drugs. My life was just affected by home trouble” he said.

He also said his problem is spiritual. According to him on the show, he is currently working on an album which would be released sometime in June.
