Christy Uduak Essien-Igbokwe, who passed away on June 30, 2011, was well known Nigeria's Lady of Songs. She was aged 50 when she passed away and was survived by her husband and children.

However, barely three years after the actress-cum-singer died, her husband, Edwin Chukwunenye Igbokwe, has reportedly remarried. The man picked a woman believed to be in her 40s as wife. They reportedly got married last weekend in Anambra State.

According to reports, the new couple held their traditional wedding on Saturday, April 19, while the white wedding was held on Monday, April 21, 2014.

From what we learnt, the children of the late popular singer boycotted the ceremonies because they were not reportedly happy with the idea of their father remarrying barely three after they lost their mum to the cold hands of death.
