Popular Nollywood actress, Oby Edozieh has emerged a winner of HomeVida awards. HomeVida is Nigeria's Integrity Film Awards, which gained global recognition after the United Nations endorsed it.

The awards is a premium national platform for creative messaging initiatives on development values, social issues, corporate social responsibility initiatives and public policy matters communicated through films has caught the attention and reckoning of the global body.

Oby Edozieh's flick, 'Save Our Soul' won under the Faith category of the awards. 'Save Our Soul' is a cancer awareness movie that advocates the importance of regular medical check up from early detection, as d best approach to curbing d prevalence of cancer disease. It also throws an important light on the fact that ignorance is d major cause of many cancer deaths.

The wife of veteran singer, Alex O, was awarded the N1million cash prize that accompanies the award she won. Oby is one of Nigeria's talented actress. She recently had a child for her husband, Alex O.
