I Won't Collaborate With Vulgar Skit Makers – Kiekie Explains
Nigerian content creator Bukunmi Adeaga Ilori, popularly known as Kiekie, has opened up about why she avoids collaborating with certain colleagues in the entertainment industry.
In a recent podcast interview, she explained that she cannot partner with skit makers whose content is overly vulgar or indecent.
She emphasized that such collaborations do not align with her brand. Although she did not mention any names, she acknowledged that she has come across several such creators. She made it clear that her decision is not a judgment of their hard work or talent, but simply a matter of brand alignment.
Kiekie further noted that associating with such content could affect how her own brands perceive and approach her work.
She sad:
"I would never collaborate with any skit maker that is too vulgar. I will not be able to collaborate with them."
"Let me think about it. Hmmm. I don't have a name of one but I have seen quite a number of them. So if you're too much breasts, bumbum, not that I have a problem with it but it's just brand alignment."
"My inability to collaborate with you doesn't mean that I look down on what you do or I don't respect what you do or I don't see your hard work. I recognize your hard work but we just don't align. It will affect the way my own brands are approaching my own work."
