Popular Nollywood actress, Dakore Akande, is expressing gratitude, amid the mourning of the passing of her late father.

The actress, who had previously expressed her heartbreak over the news of her father's death, took to her Instagram page to pen an appreciation message to her fans for the love shown. She appreciated them for the love, support and prayers over her and her family.

Sharing an update about the picture she posted, Dakore Akande revealed that it was taken on the first day of the new year, hours before she got the distressing call of her father, admitting that it is a clear indication that man proposes and God disposes.

She wrote:
