Hollywood Actress, Catherine O’Hara Passes On At 71
It is a great loss for the American movie industry, Hollywood, as one of its stars, Catherine O’Hara, is dead.
The actress who gave up the ghost at the age of 71, was renowned for her roles in Home Alone and Schitt’s Creek.
Catherine O’Hara's death was made public by Creative Artists Agency (CAA), disclosing that the Hollywood star gave up the ghost at her home in Los Angeles’ Brentwood area.
At the time of writing, there has been no explanation into the cause of the actress' death.
Catherine O’Hara, born March 4, 1954, Toronto, Ontario, Canada, and resided in Los Angeles, California, U.S, was a Canadian comedic actor whose improvisational skills and ability to display her comic characters with depth and humanity brought her respect and a number of career-defining roles. O’Hara was prominent for her role in two Home Alone movies (1990 and 1992) and for such mockumentaries as Best in Show (2000) and A Mighty Wind (2003). Her notable TV credits include the sitcom Schitt’s Creek (2015–20).
