"Feel Free to Continue Alleging" – 2Baba Claps Back at Critics Over Appearance at Edo State House of Assembly
Legendary Nigerian singer Innocent Idibia, popularly known as 2Baba, has fired back at critics of his recent appearance at the Edo State House of Assembly.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that weeks after 2Baba announced his divorce from his wife, Annie Idibia, the singer stirred controversy on social media when images and videos of him at the Edo State Assembly surfaced online.
Many social media users speculated that 2Baba’s presence at the Assembly was linked to his alleged relationship with Edo State politician Natasha Osawaru. The move drew widespread criticism, with many accusing the singer of being insensitive.
In a surprising turn of events, 2Baba took to his Instagram page to share a video addressing the backlash. He dismissed claims that Natasha Osawaru was responsible for the breakdown of his marriage, stressing that such allegations were false.
He further revealed that he and Annie have a mutual understanding of the situation and are in good terms. The singer also expressed his affection for Natasha, stating that he loves her and intends to marry her.
2Baba admitted that he anticipated public scrutiny when he announced his divorce on social media. While he remains unbothered by the allegations and criticisms, he urged people to refrain from making claims about matters they know little about.
To set the record straight, he emphasized that he plans to address the false allegations against him by speaking to the Congress.
Captioning the video, 2Baba wrote:
