Danny Young Celebrates Impact Of Social Media On Curbing Excesses
Popular Nigerian musician, Ajibola Danladi, best known as Danny Young, has delved on how social media era has reduced oppression in the Nigerian music industry.
The singer recounted his experience with an influential figure, who intentionally excluded his name from an award nomination.
The singer shed light on this during his latest podcast; he stated that social media greatly lowered the control and influence of many influential persons in the entertainment industry.
He said:“The good thing is that social media came to expose many of them because it gave people the opportunity to express themselves. That is what led to the emergence of what we call Gen Z.
“My definition of Gen Z is freedom of speech, freedom of rights, and freedom of expression.”
