Mercy Eke, a former Big Brother Naija housemate and ex-winner, has revealed that her victory at the 4th edition of the reality show was for young women.

The former reality star who became the first female winner of the show in 2019, disclosed during a recent interview with Bella Naija that she came into the show fully prepared.

She further that her win was mainly for the young women who have been sidelined, revealing that her win was for everyone of them.

She said:
“I came into the show prepared. I was ready. And when I won the show, I did it for all the young women who have been told that they can’t. I did it for all of us."
