In the midst of economic hardship, popular comedian, Nosa Afolabi, best known as Lasisi Elenu, has sparked reactions from netizens.

The comedian, who is well known for his humourous nature and online gimmicks, took to social media to declare that he misses former President Muhammadu Buhari.

Lasisi shared a voice recording on his Instagram page of his voice note to the former president, which he could be heard saying he misses the former president amidst the whole economic hardship.

The voice note says:
“I’m not sending you this message on behalf of anyone. I think I owe it to myself and my family.I never thought I would be here doing this at this time. First, I don’t even know how to say this. I miss you. God help me na die I dey”

Reacting to the comedian's message, many netizens agreed, while others argued that the economy was better under the former President.
