Nigerian controversial rapper, Speed Darlington, has been subjected to numerous criticisms on social media over his recent comments on Igbo women.

Recall that the rapper recently stated that one thing he looks out for before going Into a relationship or before he will get married is his partner's fluency in the Igbo language.

Surprisingly, the rapper has gone back on his earlier preference for fluency in Igbo women to criticizing them for being promiscuous and not a good option to consider for marriage.

Speed Darlington took to social media to make his U-turn on his earlier comment, where he stated that men should avoid Igbo women as they are not good to be married.

According to the now trending video, the controversial rapper could be heard saying;

“This message is for my brothers who are planning to marry. Listen to me, you are not more exposed than I am. My job makes me travel a lot. So, I think I’m very quality to give this advice.

“Avoid Igbo girls, they’re not great for marriage. I am an Igbo guy and I am telling you about our girls. Avoid Igbo girls, they’re very greedy and unappreciative. They behave like black American women; nothing you give a black American lady is enough.

“Igbo women are also very proud unlike Yoruba and Hausa women. I wonder how someone is going to live with such a braggadocious woman. They’re the number one prostitutes in Nigeria. Most social media feminists are Igbo women.”
