Friends, fans and colleagues of the late Olaitan Olalapo Olaonipekun otherwise known as DaGrin wept uncontrollablely this morning as the remains of the rap star was buried today at Ebony Vault, Atan Cemetery.

We learnt that DaGrin's fans stormed the Lagos University Teaching Hospital, LUTH, Lagos as early as 8. a.m to accompany the corpse of the musician to his final resting place.

The remains of DaGrin, in a dark brown Ebony Casket, left LUTH at about 8.30 a.m and accompanied to the cemetery by a huge crowd all dressed in black T-shirts with inscriptions Adieu DaGrin, Rest in Peace, DaGrin, etc.

As at the time of going to press, friends, fans including DJZeez, Weird MC, Tee A, Lexy Do, Otunba Dayo Adeneye, Sasha and others were at the grave side to pay their last respects to the rap star.

The corpse of the late DaGrin, dressed in a blue jeans and a white T-Shirt and a face cap was lowered into the grave before 11 a.m.

DaGrin died on 22 April, as a result of complications arising from an accident that occurred on Thursday 15, April, 2010.
