AFCON 2023: Portable Faces Huge Backlash For Taunting Nigerians Over South Africa Victory
The super eagles of Nigeria made the country proud as they defeated their African counterpart, South Africa in a tightfisted encounter on Wednesday, February 7, 2024.
However, Nigerian controversial singer, Portable has not found Nigerians celebrating over their win against south Africa funny. The Zazu crooner criticized the celebrations of Nigeria and even taunted them about the economic situation.
The singer said; “You don forget say hungry dey wire you, you go use your last card go watch football, think well, why are you dancing, dollars dey rise. You don chop, No go work,"
The reason for the singer's comment cannot be farfetched from the recent hike in dollars to naira. Though many Netizens have not taken the singer's comment lightly as they insulted him for trying to taunt them despite advocating for the current government before they got into power.
