Controversial Nigerian singer, Seun Kuti, has touched on the topic of monogamy and polygamy in marriage.

Seun Kuti advised men to leave monogamous lifestyle, and instead embrace polygamy. He stated that men should no longer settle for one woman, as it downgrades their influence and power, but should instead marry different women to spread their influence.

The controversial star made this known on the ‘Bahd & Boujee’ podcast, where he said;

“Monogamy doesn’t work. As a powerful man, you must have the support of numerous powerful goddesses. You know, women that are in your life because the ancestors want to put them there. You share with them.”
