There Should Be A Limit To One's Pettiness: Daniel Regha Slams Speed Darlington Following Indirect Shades At Burna Boy
Popular online commentator and celebrity tormentor, Daniel Regha, has slammed recently released controversial singer, Darlington Okoye, popularly known as Speed Darlington.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Speed Darlington sparked uproar on social media when he shared a video holding a baby oil, and insinuated that Burna Boy was involved romantically with embattled American rapper, Diddy. He further suggested that Burna Boy's relationship with Diddy made him win the Grammys. Speed Darlington's action led to his arrest by the Nigerian Police Force.
Surprisingly, despite the court's order for the release of Speed Darlington from prison, he remained in detention for several weeks, and this led to different debates among many Nigerians.
However, after much court drama, Speed Darlington was finally released on Tuesday, 21st of January, 2025. His release was made public by his lawyer, Stan Alieke, who announced that the singer has been released from prison after two months of illegal incarceration, via his Instagram page.
Surprisingly, despite Speed Darlington's recent release from prison, the singer has continued to throw shades at Burna Boy, including a recent TikTok video of him putting on a mask of embattled American rapper, Diddy.
Reacting to Speed Darlington's actions, Daniel Regha slammed him via his X handle for indirectly shading Burna Boy. He noted that his lawyers have refused to advise him to desist from his actions now, but once he is locked up, they would start playing the victim card.
Daniel Regha wrote on X:
"Speed Darlington is indirectly shading Burna by wearing a Diddy mask, his lawyer(s) won't advise their client now; But if Burna or his team decides to get him locked up again, they will start playing the victim card. There should be a limit to one's pettiness."
