Trouble: Actress, Sapphire Ogodo Comes for Colleagues Accusing Each Other

In the entertainment industry especially Nigeria, it is perceived that some celebs are ready to do anything for money but the side effect is that it cannot hide forever.

The truth is when one does not have evidence to back up any form of allegations then that fellow is not guilty of any crime and that is the case of popular man of God, Apostle Suleman, who has been in the news lately.

The man of God has been accused with sexual related offences and blackmail, but while many chose to attack the man of God, some prefer to keep silent and allow God to judge since there are no saints in the world.

Nollywood actress, Sapphire Ogodo Obi, rather than join the bandwagon to rubbish the man of God, has chosen to warn some of her industry colleagues to be weary of their activities so as not to drag their names into the mud.

She became furious considering the allegations and name mentioning of some of her colleagues which she feels bad about but believes that since there is no throphy to be won in the issue, God should be allowed to judge the matter.

“I want to draw attention to some observations I made concerning the Apostle Suleiman saga. Being fair I take a non-judgmental stance because the Bible clearly states that we should not judge people's behavior, I simply think because judging people is non-productive. No one ever changes or retreats because they were blamed, also no one fairs better than the other, but my sincere concern is with the rate and public show of impunity at which my colleagues call out themselves to have slept with a man of God.

“Everyday we are faced with one actress or the other calling themselves out as having slept with this man and I am wondering if there is a trophy one wins for sleeping with a man of God. The moment this story is about to disappear into the thin air, some head banging demons will insinuate some lies all to draw attention to themselves... I mean, don't people fear God anymore?

“What is your gain using this saga as a baseline to draw cheap publicity to yourself? What if this man were your father or a member of your family? Please I implore my fellow actresses to be good ambassadors of the industry we represent and quit this trend of ugly behavior... Our kids who are the future of this industry are looking up to us. Let's dish off this stuff and face reality nobody is perfect not even one man... We all thrive under grace which is the unmerited favour of God... If we were perfect then we don't need God's grace and mercy... No one on earth has the power to judge anyone created by God, no not one.”
