Super Falcons Protest is an International Disgrace…Paul Okoye
Singer, Paul Okoye of the P-Square dynasty, is currently not happy with the kind of treatment the Super Falcons of Nigeria are getting after making the country proud.
The Ladies had won their African Cup of Nations for the 8th time and rather than get their match bonuses, they were abandoned by the Nigerian Football federation (NFF) and to crown it all, the Minister of sports Solomon Dalung, made a controversial speech saying money is not available because they never expected the girls to win.
The girls decided to take the matter to the National Assembly and now Nigerians like Paul Okoye, have come out to blast the government on the way they have treated the girls who have brought glory to the land in this recession.
In his words, “From champions to the street what a big shame!!! A Public international disgrace don’t even have a word to call this And one big ewu mmeehhh is still in the office!! Wish all Nigerians could join hands and put this to an end how can one be proud of this country like this na after making us proud… if you can treat the most popular sport in the world like this… then am sorry for the rest … only God knows what others are going through”
