Saboteurs We’re Among Those Killed In My Assassination Attempt. - Apostle Suleman Reveals

By Agboola Ibrahim

Apostle Johnson Suleman, a Nigerian televangelist and the senior pastor and General overseer of Omega Fire Ministries International has given adequate details bordering on the unprecedented seige that seized him on October last year.

While shedding the light on how the tragic incident that claimed the life of his allies occurred, Apostle Suleman disclosed that some of those that were killed during the attack on his convoy were part of the plotters who targeted him.

Recall that Apostle Suleman had one of his challenging moments on Friday, October 21, 2022, on his way to Auchi in Edo State. Apostle Suleman’s convoy was attacked and the calamity that followed was unprecedented.

During the attack, the gunmen opened fire on his convoy, allegedly killing three of his police orderlies and six others.

Unbelievably, Apostle Suleman exposed the perpetrator in solemn tone. He disclosed that some of his supposed men that were killed were spies and working against him.

While Suleman was speaking to a congregation in Philadelphia, United States he recounted:

“Amongst those that were killed that day, there were insiders; those who were part of the plan. But the plan was not for them to be where they were,”

He also said that God caused confusion in the midst of the evil plotters that they killed themselves instead of him , heir main target.

“They had wasted them before they realized that they had wasted their own people. But it’s not everything that I will tell you.”

He noted that it was God that saved him from the attack, as according to him, the attackers were given sophisticated weapons and told never to return if they were to fail in their mission.

“When God helped us to survive the assassination attempt, somebody was saying that Apostle should go and relax; he should thank the driver; that it was the driver who saved him. But I drove the car. The young man that the police killed, I knocked him down. As I was driving, he stood in front of me with a gun. I told him you are dead,” he narrated.

“The bonnet of a bullet proof car is not bullet proof. They shot the engine to stop the car, but couldn’t. The tyres were normal tyres, they shot at them, but the bullet couldn’t penetrate. As soon as I got home and parked car, the engine knocked.

“They used nice snipers with M Series guns and were told that if they don’t get the job done, they shouldn’t return. One general said to me that since I survived that kind of attack, nobody can kill me. It is God.”

The clergy noted that the original plan of the assassins was to eliminate his wife and children, but that the Holy Spirit ministered to him, and asked him to go and be with them.

“That day, I came home from Tanzania. The Holy Spirit said to me, ‘go home and see your wife and children.’ The initial plan was for my wife and children. The Lord said, ‘go and stay with them.’ I drove them home,” he said. “I was supposed to move that night, but the Holy Spirit asked me to sleep so I slept. I went in the morning and told my wife that I wanted to go with her and the children.”
