The New Year has begun and various activities both in the private and public sectors are beginning to take shape as everyone resumes to work.

In the Nigerian political sector (Lagos state) the first Sunday of the year was a way of thanking God for how he has preserved the state so far as people from all spheres of life see the state as a living place.

Nollywood actor cum politician, Honourable Desmond Elliot, was not left out in the thanksgiving service which was held at the government house in Lagos.

The Hon. Had earlier gone to his church with his wife for their usual Sunday service and later, along with other state officials were in attendance to glorify the name of the Lord at the state service.
