PSquare's Paul Okoye Blasted For Posting Insensitive Suicide-Bomber Picture
For this coming elections, many entertainers are voicing their rights as part of the citizenry in the bid to vote for the candidate of their choice. However, taking a different route on the course to lighten the mood of the populace from the seriousness of the incessant bombings and killings happening, Paul Okoye shared a picture and did not bargain for the back lash afterwards.
The dreadlocks wearing half of the PSquare fame posted a picture which he had hoped would bring smiles to the faces of his fans but was tongued lashed instead. the pictured depicted a surprised face of a middle-East man who was reacting to a speech by another man. The inscriptions in the picture read,
"I nominate Muhammad for the next suicide bomber mission"
Many fans had responded to the picture as insensitive as it bothers on the chosen name in the inscriptions which bears the prominent name of a leader of a religion as the next suicide bomber. Some of his fans were questioning why he make fun of such an issue which has claimed innocent lives and properties turning some others to perpetually internally displaced places (IDPs).
He has however removed the offensive picture from his timeline.
