"Being A Nigerian Is Not Even Safe At Home Anymore" – Ruth Kadiri Berates President Tinubu Over Killings, Insecurity
Nollywood actress and producer Ruth Kadiri has tackled President Tinubu over the incessant insecurity and killings that have ravaged several parts of Nigeria.
The actress' call-out follows the news of the abductions of some students, parents and teachers in Oyo state.
The tragic incident was further compounded by the gruesome slaughter of a Mathematics teacher in Oyo State, identified as Michael Oyedokun.
Reacting to the tragic incident, Ruth Kadiri shared a post on her Instagram page, urging President Tinubu to tackle the issue of insecurity, or give Nigerians the freedom to protect themselves.
She stressed the incessant rate of death in the country, noting how being a Nigerian is no longer safe.
She wrote:
"This is not propaganda!
This is not your enemies trying to make you look bad.
And even if they were, you can’t leave your house on fire.
Dear President Tinubu, pls do something, or give us the go-ahead to protect our lives and properties.
Too much death everywhere.
Being a Nigerian is not even safe at home anymore.
Too many innocent lives are paying for sins they know nothing about. @officialasiwajubat."
