Popular Nigerian comedian, Bovi Ugboma has disclosed the secret of his successful marital journey.

Speaking in an interview with media personality VJ Adams, Bovi disclosed that there is nothing special about his marital success, other than him being extremely lucky.

Buttressing his point, he stated that he is not that strict, but he still gets hurt, but the practice of taking life as it comes and learning to endure has kept him going.

He revealed that his marriage is not perfect, but the urge to make things work out has put his relationship on the grid, and that is what makes people think he is perfect.

He said:
"One day at a time, and don’t take yourself too seriously. I am lucky when it comes to marriage. I think most marriages have to do with luck before any form of planning comes into play. So, I think I am lucky. I have learned not to take things too personally, but that doesn’t mean I don’t get pushed or worried. There is no perfect marriage but perfection comes from loving the imperfection. I am not the type of person who will stay in a place that isn’t conducive, so that’s why I said I am lucky to be where I am, but, for many years, I was doing this one thing at a time, and I am a giver by nature.
