At times these Nigerian artistes are just saying the exact things that would readily provoke the masses to go to the polls and vote out an erring administration or vote in a fresh administration who promise the promise land.

They have now gone on to even become theme song providers in the bid to endear their own fans to the candidates vying for a political office. Some artistes have come together to voice their thoughts about the upcoming elections.

Read their response below:

Banky W: "The administration under which power is fixed will probably go down as the greatest administration that we have had in the country."
Tuface: "No public office holder should go abroad for health care and educational solutions. Everything should be done here."
Sound Sultan: "Many times we talk so much about the government without knowing that we are the government ourselves."

Yemi Alade: "It's high time the leaders got off their high horse and mingle with the masses, feel the scorching sun and the heat of the matter. Only then will passion be ignited."

This brings to mind the reason these acts go out abroad to shoot their videos. Power is a constant variable that would booster their craft and definitely blow up their pockets. Do I hear your thought that they could be selfish?
