Producers Now Recommend Rich Actors For Movie Roles—Ginika Maureen
An actress in the Nigerian movie industry has alleged that some filmmakers and directors are in the habit of recommending movie roles for actors who are rich.
In an interview with Vanguard over the weekend, the role-interpreter, Ginika Maureen, further said that this is another dimension introduced by these producers in giving actors roles in their flicks.
She said despite all this and other challenges, she has been able to stay relevant in the industry because of her ability to interpret her roles very well. “I interpret my roles to the best of my own ability, most times my directors are impressed,” Maureen disclosed.
