Kunle Afolayan Isolated With Brother Over Ebola

The outbreak of the dreaded Ebola virus in West Africa is gradually becoming a serious issue in some countries as they are not taking any chances at all. Some of these countries are trying their best possible of preventing the disease from spreading to their regions.

One of the ways countries have put in place to control its spread is by conducting a thorough check on passengers from West African region on arrival at the countries.

One of such persons who got that treatment was ace Nigerian filmmaker and actor, Kunle Afolayan, who recently travelled to Seychelles with his younger brother, Gabriel, also an actor. Kunle revealed on his Facebook page that they were isolated on their arrival at Seychelles airport because of the Ebola fear.

According to him, “We landed in the Republic of Seychelles safe and sound. Gabriel and I were isolated from the other Kenyan crew that went we us and we were made to sign plenty forms because we came from West Africa (Ebola region).

“Gabriel didn't have his yellow fever card, so he had to do a test the following day and take the result back to the health section of the airport. Thanks to SBC for the rescue and warm welcome.”

The disease has so far killed over 1000 people, according to the World Health Organisation (WHO).

It is believed that a late Liberian-American named Patrick Sawyer, exported the deadly disease to Nigeria.
