Nigeria's talented artiste and song writer, Waje, has expressed her feelings of being opportuned to perform at the recently held centenary awards in Abuja.

According to her, she grew up seeing the past leaders on television and newspapers, but did not believe she would one day sing in their presence.
'I will not forget the centenary show in a long while.'

'it was an incredible night for me. I received kind words of encouragement. There were heads of government telling me that I brought tears to their eyes with my songs,' she added.

The singer stressed that she continue to be hard working so as to be appreciated someday as an ambassador of one Nigeria.
