Mother of popular Fuji artiste, Saheed Osupa, Madam Taibatu Abeni Olatokunbo Adelanwa, is dead. http://nollywoodgists.com learnt that Madam Adelanwa, aged 70, died on Tuesday and was buried at Osupa's residence in Ibadan, Oyo state, on the same day, according to Islamic rites.

The Fuji musician confirmed the death to http://nollywoodgists.com this morning, adding that the final burial ceremony will hold in Lagos, next Tuesday, at the Eagles Club, Surulere, Lagos, with popular artistes performing. Saheed Osupa said he has been receiving condolence messages from Nigerians of all shades including Wasiu Alabi Pasuma and his mother, Madam Adijat Kuburat. Osupa, the fifth child of Madam Adelanwa, lamented that he will miss his mom, who would have turned 71 in August. Other siblings of the Fuji musician are Adiat, Tawakalitu, Dolapo, Okanlawon and Ramotu.
