Star actress and new face of Hope Nkiru Sylvanus puts up an appearance at the HOMEVIDA award ceremony this Friday in Abuja. The Enugu-based actress came in company of two young men whose slim frames made one waka pass to conclude that they may be direct beneficiaries of her charity programmes. Anyway Nkay as Nkiru is called left the venue of the event as soon as she came in. She found a seat but because her male-chaperons (or what do you call men who accompany brand ambassadors) couldn't get seats, Nkay advised that they leave. As she made for the only exit door one waka pass overheard her complaining that the organisers couldn't have invited her and then expect her to stand. Though, we are no attorneys to the organisers, but one waka pass said he has proof to the effect that Nkay came late to the programme (she came in almost 2 hours behind schedule) and since she knew she was late, she put on the face of 'hope and just hoped through' until she finds a seat for her chaperon.
