DAKORE EXPLAINS HER LOVE FOR WATER

Beautiful Nollywood star actress, Dakore Egbuson recently came back to Nigeria from London where 'The successes,” a movie she starred in along side Stephanie Okereke, Olu Jacobs and some white actors had just premiered.

The movie which opened in West end North and South of London on the 17th of September is also expected to premier at Silver-bird cinema sometime this November. The screen goddess is currently shooting a movie with Alex Osifo-Omaigbo, Clem Ohaneze and Florence Onuma among others.

Since appearing on the acting scene in 2000, Dakore had become one of the best in the industry. She is also into photography. Television presenting, writing, dancing and singing.

The Bayelsa State born multi-talented star who spoke with the press recently, explained why she so much likes water. She said, “I find water so calming that being on the beach frees me from any kind of stress I am experiencing.”

Apart from the calming nature of water, Dakore also feels that water has a hand in creativity. “I think water is life, water is the source of everything. We wouldn't be alive today without water … I mean, we take baths, we drink tea, we cook, just name it and water is a part of it.” People from the riverine areas are often seen as being more in tune with life's element.

While acting has brought Dakore fame and money, her greatest creative strength, she stresses, lies in music, “it is this channel that satisfies the hunger to express my self” she said.
