Basketmouth Mourns Late Loved Ones, Jokes He Could Have Been President If He Had Chosen Politics
Nigerian comedian Bright Okpocha, popularly known as Basketmouth, has paid an emotional tribute to his late family members and celebrity friends.
In a comedic video shared on his social media pages, he reflected on his 27-year career while making a satirical jab at the government.
He joked that if he had channeled the same years into selling drugs or politics, he would have become Nigeria's president by now.
He also honored his late parents, eldest brother Ogologo (Ifeanyi), and fellow entertainers Sound Sultan and Kayode Peters, declaring that their love, memories, and impact will remain with him forever.
He wrote:
"REST IN PEACE to the ones I hold closest to my heart: my parents, my eldest brother, Ogologo (Ifeanyi), Sound Sultan, and Kayode Peters.
You may be gone, but your love, memories, and impact will stay with me forever."
