Mr Real Says He'd Choose Banditry Over Petty Trade, Slams First Lady's Advice
Nigerian street-pop singer Okafor Uchenna Victor, popularly known as Mr Real, has slammed First Lady Oluremi Tinubu over her recent economic advice to Nigerians.
The First Lady in a viral interview, while addressing questions about the economic hardship plaguing Nigerians, had suggested that citizens should take up petty trading, such as selling akara, kulikuli, and roasted corn, as a way of tackling the problem.
Reacting to her response, Mr Real took to his Instagram page to express his disapproval, stating that he would rather join bandits than sell kulikuli and akara.
He added that his targets would be politicians, and if caught, he would at least be rehabilitated. His remark has since sparked debates online.
He wrote:
"I go rather join bandit than to sell kulikuli and akara. And my target will be only politicians. At least if I am caught, they will rehabilitate me."
