Zlatan Set To Storm MAPOLY With Free Homecoming Concert
Nigerian singer and rapper Omoniyi Temidayo, popularly known as Zlatan Ibile, is set to return to his alma mater, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic (MAPOLY), for a homecoming concert tagged 'Symbol of Hope.'
The event is scheduled for July 1, 2026, at the MAPOLY Sports Centre in Ogun State, with free entry for all students.
The 'Zanku' crooner made the announcement via Instagram, marking the artist's first major campus show of the year. According to him, MAPOLY made him before the world knew his name, and he is returning to celebrate with the people on the same ground where his journey began.
He described the concert as a tribute to his beginnings and a way to give back to the institution that shaped him.
Zlatan was a student of MAPOLY in the early 2010s before delving fully into music.
He wrote:
"MAPOLY JULY 1st !!! MAPOLY made me before the world knew my name. Same ground, same dream, same hunger that carried me everywhere. Now I'm coming back home. Not just to perform for you, but to celebrate with you."
"A free show for my people. The place where it all started. Symbol Of Hope HOMECOMING. Mapoly Sport Center, Moshood Abiola Polytechnic, Ogun State."
