Nollywood actor Saidi Balogun and his family are celebrating the posthumous birthday of their daughter, Zeenat Balogun, with heartfelt tributes.

An emotional video was shared on Instagram by the actor's son, Khalid, detailing the cause of her death and honouring her legacy.

It was revealed that the late Zeenat battled sickle cell anaemia, facing every battle with strength, courage and grace, and leaving behind unforgettable memories.

The family explained that her posthumous birthday celebration is to commemorate the World Sickle Cell Day, thereby raising awareness and remembering several others who are battling the same condition.
