Nollywood actor Kunle Afod has expressed his utter displeasure with Nigerians over their ability to amplify distractions amid pressing issues.

The Yoruba actor in a post on his Instagram page, noted how important issues are immediately sidelined once something of less importance comes up.

He stressed that the act of paying less attention to pressing issues is a bad trait amongst the citizens, maintaining that it has to change.

He wrote:
"Nigerians have a way of ignoring important issues the moment they find something or someone to gossip about.

We often give more attention to distractions than to matters that truly deserve our focus. It’s time to change that."
