It is a sad time for Nollywood, especially the Yoruba sector, as actor Adeshina Okiki Janmole has given up the ghost following a fatal car accident.

The tragic news was made public by actor Akin Olaiya, who shared a video from the fatal incident on Tuesday.

Describing his colleague's death as "sad," Akin Olaiya prayed for his soul, urging him to rest in peace.

“Inalilahi Wainalilahi Rojihuna. This is sad. Rest in peace, Adeshina Okiki Janmole.”

Reacting to the tragic incident on his Instagram page, veteran actor Mr Latin expressed his condolences, praying for strength for the family and friends of the deceased.

“May the soul of our departed colleague, Adesina Okiki Janmole, who tragically lost his life in an accident, rest in perfect peace. May God grant his family, friends, and colleagues the strength and comfort to bear this irreparable loss. He will be greatly missed. Amen."
