Everybody Loves Jenifa: Funke Akindele Wishes Fans A Happy New Year
It is the new year, and many people have taken to their various social media handles to wish their friends a happy new year, with celebrities not left out.
This time, it is the box office queen and producer of the 'Everybody Loves Jenifa,' Funke Akindele, who has taken her time to wish her ever supportive fans a happy new year.
The Nigerian Voice recalls that Funke Akindele released her widely anticipated movie, 'Everybody Loves Jenifa' on Friday December 13th, 2024. The movie has since gone on to set new records in the movie industry
Interestingly, on Monday, 30th December, 2024, Funke Akindele announced the new records set by her new movie which includes: grossing a total of 1,034,091,220, the record for the second 1 billion box office in 12 months, highest grossing producer and director of all time, top record of top 4 highest grossing Nollywood films of all time.
Furthermore, it also accounts for 40% of the December box office with 201,604 admissions. It has also become the fastest title to hit the 1 billion mark in 19 days. Everybody Loves Jenifa becomes the second Nollywood title to achieve the feat.
Taking to her Instagram page, the actress shared stunning group photos of the cast of her new movie, while captioning it with:
