Social Media has been thrown into a frenzy over the viral video of domestic abuse involving former Big Brother Naija winner, Ilebaye Odiniya, emerged on social media.

In a widely circulated video on Friday midnight, Ilebaye went live on Instagram with her visibly swollen face, appealing to the public for an urgent intervention over a case of domestic abuse involving her.

Clips from the video indicated that the reality star was being physically assaulted by a man, whom many believe to be her father.

Ilebaye appealed to Nigerians for help, lamenting that she is being held hostage and fed up with constant assault.

"Nigerians help me, I need to go. I need to leave this house, I’m being locked up. I’m tired of assault, please come and help me.”
