Veteran Nollywood actress Toyin Adegbola has advised women battling with cheating partners in their marriages.

According to her, she believes that women are expected to learn how to tolerate the excesses of their partner and forget the issue of divorce.

She warned women against opting for divorce in cases where the man cheats. She believes that instead of divorcing the man, the woman should appeal to him to try to remain faithful and if he continues, the woman should purchase condoms for him to use while cheating.

She noted that any married woman who opts for divorce due to her partner's unfaithfulness is at a disadvantage,

because no single man would be willing to marry a divorcee.

The actress made this known in Yoruba during a recent Instagram live session. She said in Yoruba, however translated to English reads:

“No matter how bad your husband is, don’t leave your matrimonial home because you won’t see a single man to marry you. Just be begging and buying condoms for him if he’s cheating.”
