"Let Everyone Stick To Their Curse" – Mary Njoku Slams Men Demanding For Equal Split In Responsibilities From Partner
Nollywood actress Mary Njoku, has finally weighed in on the recent demands of men to share responsibilities equally with their partner.
In a recent post on her Instagram page, the filmmaker disagreed with the view, noting how both the male and female gender were cursed by God in the Garden of Eden.
According to her, every gender should face their curse, and carry it with grace.
She wrote:
"When God was punishing humans for sinning in the Garden of Eden, the curse on women was: she will suffer in pain in child bearing.
For Man: he will labour to get food to feed himself and his wife.
Now there’s one party (men) that wants to share their curse 50/50.
Guys, let everyone stick to their curse.
Let’s all carry our God-given cross gracefully, please. Thank you."
