Veteran Nigerian actor Solomon Akiyesi, has given up the ghost.
Confirming the sad news, the National President of the Actors Guild of Nigeria (AGN), Abubakar Yakubu, stated that the actor passed on, on Sunday, April 26, 2026.
He revealed that the veteran died in his sleep, and his body has been deposited in a morgue in Abuja.
“Yes, it is true. He died yesterday. He slept and did not wake up. His body is in the morgue in Abuja, where the sad incident happened.
Solomon Akiyesi was revered for his dynamism in the movie industry, as he had an illustrious career, spanning over two decades, while featuring in over 100 movies before his demise.
