Mayowa Lambe, the estranged wife of media personality Roby Ekpo, has issued a cease-and-desist suit to her ex-husband, following his darring revelation in a viral interview.

Recall that The Nigerian Voice recently reported that Roby Ekpo, in a now-viral interview on the Honest Bunch Podcast, shared insights into his crashed marriage with Mayowa Lambe.

According to him, Mayowa was unfaithful, deceiving, and also extorted money from him for years, under the guise of pretence. He further expressed his heartbreak upon finding out that she had remarried in the US.

Following the ruckus that Ekpo's interview has caused, Nwaneli Esq, the legal representative of Mayowa filed a cease-and-desist notice to Ekpo.

The notice further contained a demand for an apology, retraction of claims, and the payment of N100 million in damages for defamation or face legal action.

“A Cease & Desist has been formally issued on behalf of Ms. Mayowa Lambe over false and defamatory statements being circulated publicly.

Let this be clear, there is no existing marital relationship. There is verifiable evidence contradicting these claims."
