Former reality star and Big Brother Naija housemate, Nengi Rebecca Hampson, popularly known as Nengi has responded to an allegation against her by controversial blog, Gistlover.

According to Gistlover, Nengi is currently pregnant, and the father of her child is a married governor, who already has four wives.

Addressing the rumours via her X handle, Nengi stated that as much as she believes social media lies aren't worth her time, she has come to accept that misinformation and lies are now the order of the day.

Refuting Gistlover's claim, she stressed that she was not pregnant for any Governor. She noted that the reason she decided to address the claims was because the attack was not just on her, but against people she holds in high regard, and she would not want a beautiful, personal part of her life to be turned into something ugly.

Nengi wrote on X:
“As much as I believe social media lies aren’t worth my time, I’ve come to accept that we live in a world where people are quick to spread lies without limits, so let me be clear: I’m not pregnant for any Governor.

I’ve chosen to speak cos this isn’t just an attack on me; it involves people I hold in the highest regard, and I won’t allow a beautiful, personal part of my life to be turned into something ugly.

While I continue to mind my own business and enjoy my pregnancy in peace, I wish y’all love and a happy Valentine’s weekend."
